Anyfid
Real Estate Rebranding
Anyfid is a small real estate agency based in Lugano. Established in the nineties, the firm sought to update its image through a new website. I worked for Anyfid as a freelance UX/UI designer and 3D artist to both redesign their company website as well as to render stills of their new high-end property. My roles in this project included: research, branding, wireframing and UI design. The deliverables consisted in logo refreshing, collateral design, style guides, renders and handout specifications to the web developer.
Research & Planning
Starting with gathering information from the existing correspondence I evaluated the pain-points and opportunities of the existing website. I interviewed both the tenants and the administration about their experience, collecting the most common requests and issues. This gave me an idea on what new features could be added to improve the service.
Moodboard & Design System
After defining the right information architecture, I redesigned the website with highly visual and suggestive content, keeping in mind the needs of the users. Following some competitive analysis, I created a modern mood board, with a palette of natural shades to better highlight the greenery of the properties. To maintain consistency and ensure an efficient designer to developer handover, I developed a system of reusable components and their states, such as cards, accordion, links, and sliders, and arranged them into a style guide.
Opportunities
For the collateral design, in addition to classic flyers, I designed a printer-friendly layout that can be generated from the website’s listing. In this way, I was able to meet the needs of the administration by reducing the number of inconsistencies caused by outdated documents. Now instead of manually creating and maintaining external documents, flyers can be quickly updated and printed in one place, saving time and reducing errors.
Architectural Visualizations
For Anyfid’s newly built property, I modelled and rendered architectural visualizations. For the exteriors, I enhanced the metallic texture of the alucobond coverings with a rainy night scene. For the interiors I instead privileged light and natural shades of grey to induce a calm sense of luxury.
